The 16th track on the Deluxe Version of Evanescence's self-titled album, Evanescence (album).
In an interview with Spin.com[1] Amy announces the name of three new songs included in the third album, among them is "Secret Door": a ballad played with the harp.
On June 19th, Amy posted a video on twitvid titled "...Secret Door..." [2] in which she is playing a slow, calming piece on the harp.
In a Spotify fan interview, Amy revealed the inspiration behind Secret Door:

I was having a recurrent dream. When I woke up every time all I could remember was this round door, overgrown with ivy and a really strong feeling of love- for something through the door. I wrote the song about love within a dream and the idea that reality is only the one you choose.[3] |
