Esta canção dura cerca de toda a extensão da história da gravação do Evanescence. Originalmente lançado no EP Evanescence original, em 1998, "Imaginary " tem evoluído através de sete versões diferentes. Amy Lee escreveu a canção e, aparentemente, refere-se a seu antigo quarto. A canção é interpretada como encontrar um lugar para escapar de problemas pessoais e com o mundo exterior.
