Synthesis Live is Evanescence's second live DVD that was released on October 12, 2018. The footage was recorded by Paul R. Brown during the band's show at The Grand Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on November 3, 2017 in support of their fourth studio album, Synthesis.

The DVD was first rumored as guests at the band's VIP session were informed that the show was being recorded. Later on in a French interview with La Grosse Radio, Amy confirmed that the rumor was true.[1]

The DVD was officially announced on August 8, 2018 and the pre-order links went live, showing that it's available in multiple formats; DVD, DVD+CD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray+CD and Digital.[2]

Four full-length videos from the show, My Immortal, Hi-Lo, Lacrymosa and My Heart Is Broken, were published to Evanescence's official YouTube channel prior to the DVD's release. Lithium was later uploaded.

The bonus material on the DVD/Blu-ray includes the official music video for Hi-Lo featuring Lindsey Stirling.
