Together Again is a song written for The Open Door sessions, but missed the cut on the album.
What You Want is the first track and the first single released from Evanescence's self-titled third album. It features heavy riffs, strong vocals, and has a theme of freedom. It is one of the only two Evanescence songs which were officially remixed (the other one being Lies): the remixed version was done by Elder Jepson and it was officially released along with the studio version in the UK Commercial Single.

Amy confirmed in an interview with evanescencewebsite.com that Together Again is The Narnia Song and was inspired by the movie. She says the song is about "leaving home knowing it may not be there when you return, and the attraction to something frightening and wonderful far away from there."
In an interview with MTV news, Amy Lee said:

On January 22nd, 2010, Amy announced on her Twitter account the release of the song to the public, after the Haiti earthquake events:
"It's about freedom — that's definitely a constant theme on the record — but, it's like Evanescence, and me, and my relationship with the music and the fans, and coming to that [realization] of "This is what I'm supposed to do ... I want to do this," and when it says, "Remember who you really are," that's exactly everything you could assume it means." (more...)

"Today @Evanescence is releasing a new song, Together Again, and the proceeds are going to help Haiti! Details to follow!".

On EvClub Amy explains the reason of publishing the song:

"[...] So, (deep exhalation of emotional release) about the song- As most of you know, "Together Again" is a song written during the Open Door era. I have always loved it and wanted to find the perfect home for it. It wasn't at home in the Narnia movie, it didn't belong on The Open Door, and of all the other nameless opps that came up in between then and now it didn't fit there either. The recording you are hearing was made in 2005-6 along with the rest of the record. About a week ago (a couple of days after hearing about the recent events in Haiti) Josh woke up (before me as usual) and told me that he thought maybe this was where the song belonged.
