Tim McCord (born June 28, 1979, in Sacramento, California) is the current bass player for Evanescence. He was announced as the band's new bass player after Will Boyd left in June 2006.[1] Before joining Evanescence, Tim was mostly known for playing guitar for The Revolution Smile from 2000 to 2004. On November 13, 2018, Tim posted multiple pictures and videos in the studio recording his solo music project.[8][9][10]
