Zita Rock Festival was an open air music festival in the Spandau Citadel in Berlin, Germany. It was held annually in May or June since 2007. Until 2009 there was one day of the event, in 2010 and 2011 there were two days each. The motto of the festival in those years was "Zita Rock & Folk Festival", the bands were thematically divided into the rock-heavy for the first day and folk-heavy for the second day.
On January 2, 2013, the organizer announced that they would not hold another Zita Rock Festival for the time being. The reasons for this were problems in getting an appealing line-up and the running of it. The festival has not resumed since then.
Zita Rock Festival 2012
Evanescence headlined the festival on Friday, June 15, 2012 as part of their self-titled album tour.
