Limp Bizkit is an American nu metal band from Jacksonville, Florida. Its line-up consists of lead vocalist Fred Durst, drummer John Otto, guitarist Wes Borland, turntablist DJ Lethal and bassist Sam Rivers. The band's musical style is marked by Durst's angry vocal delivery and Borland's sonic experimentation. Borland's elaborate visual appearance, which includes face and body paint, masks, and uniforms, also plays a large role in Limp Bizkit's live shows. The band has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, sold 40 million records worldwide, and won several other awards.

Former Evanescence guitarist, Terry Balsamo, was in the band for a brief stint in 1995.

In 2003, Wes Borland worked with Amy Lee when he was in the supergroup, The Damning Well, where she recorded on their song, Power, that remains unreleased to this day due to issues with Amy's management at the time. Wes also expressed interest in producing Evanescence's next album after Fallen.

DJ Lethal programmed Evanescence's second album, The Open Door, with Amy Lee doing additional programming.
