MTV First: Evanescence was a special show where Evanescence debuted the first single from their self-titled album, What You Want, on August 8, 2011 on MTV's channel. After the performance, the band sat down with host, James Montgomery, for an interview and a fan Q&A that was streamed on MTV's website. At the end of the interview, the studio version of What You Want played as the band talked and met with the fans that attended.
